This summer, the University of 匹兹堡 was named a 最适合女同性恋、男同性恋、双性恋、变性和酷儿（”+）学生的大学 by Best Colleges in partnership with Campus Pride. To reflect on this recognition, the 多样性和包容性办公室 (ODI) and 球速体育酷儿专业人士 (PQP) hosted a town hall conversation for the Pitt community to discuss the progress the University has made to be more inclusive of LGBTQIA+ faculty, staff and students—and what the needs to be done to make Pitt more supportive of its LGBTQIA+ community.

The conversation was moderated by 凯蒂教皇, associate vice chancellor for civil rights and Title IX, and featured the following panelists:

The panelists also talked about bringing systematic attention to some of the issues facing the LGBTQIA+ population and about making University’s 不歧视政策 more transparent.
